Algemene info Jo Jo d'O

Jo Jo is the daughter of Noisette des Vaux, who also produced the approved stallions Hos d'O (Dollar Dela Pierre) and Istacum d'O (Stakkato). Noisette des Vaux is a half sister of Eglantine des Vaux II who was internationally successful under Francisco Guedes.

As a young horse she unfortunately had an accident which made her unsuitable for the sport, so she immediately went into breeding. In the meantime she has proven to be one of our most valuable mares.

From the mare report, drawn up in 2017 following the approval of her son Origi d'O for the BWP studbook:

"Jo d'O is a large, appealing mare who stands well in the rectangle model. The neck is sufficiently long and well-muscled but a little deep set. The shoulders are high and long and the shoulder is long and angled. The back and loins are strong. The hindquarters is well muscled. The legwork is hard, correctly set but slightly light. The hooves are sufficiently developed. The step is spacious with lots of imprint and suppleness. The trot is spacious and supple enough".

The sire of Jo Jo is Toulon, a modern stallion with a lot of charisma. In 2007, he won more than € 300 000 in prize money with Rider Hubert Bourdy. Toulon's offspring are characterized by the exceptional qualities under saddle and have movement with a good exterior. The offspring of Toulon are very popular and he has more than 20 approved sons.
