Histoire d’O is the daughter of Naomi d’O Z, who competed internationally under the name Touch Down with Olympic champion Eric Lamaze. Naomi also achieved an impressive 8th place at the World Championships for 6-year-old horses in Lanaken under Finnish rider Nina Fagerström.
Histoire’s sire, Diamant de Semilly, has an outstanding record. He won team gold at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera with Eric Levallois, followed by team silver at the 2003 European Championships in Donaueschingen. In 2005, he won back-to-back Grands Prix in Saint-Lô and Caen.
With such exceptional bloodlines, it’s no surprise that Histoire d’O proved her quality by finishing 10th in the 2014 World Championships for 7-year-olds.
In 2012, she was partially sold to Stephex Stables and later moved to Switzerland in early 2015.
